Dr. Kathryn L. Noonan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas, graduating with honors.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri School of Optometry, with externships at the John Cochran Veteran’s Administration Hospital, the Lion’s Optometric Center in Kansas City, and the St. Louis Optometric Center.
Dr. Noonan began her optometry career at Group Health Plan in the St. Louis area, working at the Sunset Hills office. She was part of the senior medical staff and served on the Optometric Peer Review Board. In February 2001, she joined Cohen Eye Associates, where she specializes in comprehensive eye exams and oversees contact lens fitting services. She is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois.

It May Be Time for an Exam
The American Optometric Association recommends that adults aged 18 to 64 undergo a comprehensive eye exam at least every two years if they are low-risk or asymptomatic, or at least annually if they are at-risk.
Adults over 64 should undergo annual exams.
