Bruce H. Cohen, M.D.
Dr. Bruce H. Cohen is a laser vision correction specialist and general ophthalmologist in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Harvard College and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, with highest honors in chemistry. He continued his education at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and received a doctor of medicine degree.
Dr. Cohen completed his internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, and entered the Washington University ophthalmology program. He completed a one-year fellowship in the fields of glaucoma and retina. He served as chief resident in ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital and chief of the University Eye Service at Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Bruce H. Cohen entered solo private practice as an ophthalmologist, with offices at Barnes Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital. Dr. Cohen has been active in managed care organizations in the St. Louis, Missouri area. He was a founding member of the Barnes Eyecare Network Board of Managers, and served as vice president of the Barnes Eyecare Network from August 1994 to October 1997. He served as a member of the board of trustees of the Missouri Ophthalmological Society, Inc. from 1994 through 1997.
Dr. Cohen has been a member of the teaching faculty at Washington University School of Medicine. In addition, he serves as an ophthalmologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where our main office is located. He also serves on the active staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, and St. Louis Eye Surgery & Laser Center.

Kathryn L. Noonan, O.D.
Dr. Kathryn L. Noonan attended the University of Kansas, where she graduated as an honor student with a bachelor of arts in human biology. She was a member and president of Kappa Alpha Theta and served on the Kansas Relays Committee.
Dr. Noonan received her doctor of optometry degree from the University of Missouri School of Optometry. Her externships included John Cochran Veteran’s Administration Hospital, the Lion’s Optometric Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and the St. Louis Optometric Center.
She started practicing optometry with Group Health Plan in the St. Louis area at the Sunset Hills office. She was a member of the senior medical staff and was appointed to the Optometric Peer Review Board. Dr. Kathryn L. Noonan joined Cohen Eye Associates, Limited, in February 2001. She specializes in comprehensive eye examinations and supervises the contact lens fitting services at Cohen Eye Associates.
Dr. Noonan is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.

Nancy M. Buchser, M.D.
Dr. Nancy M. Buchser is a Glaucoma specialist, with extensive training and experience in ophthalmology. She received her Medical Doctorate with Research Distinction and completed her Medical Internship at University of Miami. Dr. Buchser also completed a Glaucoma Research Fellowship and an Ocular Pathology Fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
After a Residency in Ophthalmology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, she completed Glaucoma Fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. Her surgical practice includes sutureless cataract surgery, laser surgery, iStents, and various glaucoma procedures including traditional, minimally invasive, and combined cataract-glaucoma procedures.
